“A New Voice at Sea, and Room for New York City”

Two pieces of good news for the congregations praying about 2027. Dr. Leonard A. Wilson will join us as guest speaker aboard the Celebration Canada & New England Cruise — and, new as of this week, a New York City tour extension is now available for any group sailing with us.

For more than thirty years, Dr. Wilson has used writing, film, and teaching to help believers move beyond simply knowing about God and into His presence. His focus on abiding in Christ makes him a fitting voice for a week built around fellowship, rest, and renewal at sea.

If families in your congregation have always wanted to see New York City, this pairs naturally: a few extra days in the city before or after the cruise, alongside a week at sea centered on teaching and fellowship rather than itinerary logistics.

This Week's Reflection

“They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters… then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.”

PSALM 107:23, 30

The psalmist did not write this for people on vacation. He wrote it for sailors caught in real storms, watching real waves, with nothing between them and the deep but a hull and the Lord's mercy. Their relief was not the scenery — it was the haven, and the One who brought them to it.

A week at sea with your congregation will not feel like that kind of storm. But it still carries the same quiet lesson: rest is a gift, fellowship is a gift, and arriving safely at the place you hoped to reach is never something we managed on our own. Whatever waters your people are crossing this year — literal or otherwise — that is worth saying out loud together.

Featured Journey

Celebration Canada & New England Cruise

Canada & New England  ·  September 30 – October 9, 2027  ·  Pricing available upon request

Your group sails aboard Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas, with stops in Boston, Portland (Maine), Saint John (New Brunswick), Halifax, and Sydney (Nova Scotia) — a slower, coastal itinerary built for conversation and teaching between ports rather than a packed sightseeing schedule.

With Dr. Leonard A. Wilson teaching on board, and the new New York City extension available to lengthen the trip, this is an easy one to put in front of a congregation that wants faith, fellowship, and a genuinely memorable destination in the same week.

Partnering With Your Church

Your church should not have to become a travel agency.

Partnering with us costs your church nothing. We carry the planning, the vendor coordination, the registrations, the payment tracking, and the questions from families — so your group leader can stay where he belongs: teaching and shepherding your people, before, during, and after the journey.

When your group reaches a qualifying size, your group leader travels free, and a portion of the proceeds returns to your church. We will walk you through the particulars in person.

Briefly
  • Dr. Wilson is the second 2027 guest speaker we've announced, alongside Dr. Brent Strawn aboard the Early Church Cruise. If your church has been praying about who might teach your group, now is a good time to talk through the options.
  • Nearer-term departures for 2026 are still open, including Christmas in the Holy Land on December 2. Reply to this note if a family in your congregation is asking about traveling this year.

Grateful to serve alongside you,
